From its humble beginnings to the stature the group has reached today “Superhouse” along with its stakeholders and top brass management stands committed towards its duties and responsibilities unto the society and country at all times. With an inherent understanding that the true right to the resources rests with the ones who also pro-actively and consistently contribute towards the society, environment and country. The Group stands steadfast in fulfilling and discharging all its obligations towards country, society and mankind, at large.
Right from its very beginnings the management had a keen eye towards maintaining clean and hygienic environment in the vicinity it operated owing to effluents and various waste the leather industry generates whilst production and hence it espoused and wholeheartedly contributed towards setting up of the first COMMON EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT in the state of Uttar Pradesh in the year 1993 with the assistance of the World Bank and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This initiative was a major step towards maintaining the ecological balance and waste contribution that the Leather Industry was making to the ecosystem. Since then all group tanneries have primary Effluent Treatment Plants installed and operational at all times. To further augment and stress its stand towards environmental balance compliance to ISO14001:2004 is observed and all its tanneries and manufacturing units are certified to the global ISO environmental standard. On the societal front the group actively endeavors to create and inculcate active environmental attitude amongst the citizens working in close association with NGO’s and government bodies.
Raising the bars for itself the group has been awarded SA8000 certification across all its manufacturing units ensuring international levels of work environment for its employees. Additionally, ensuring safety and health of all its workforce the group across all its manufacturing units is OHSAS18001:1999 certified and periodical internal Audits are conducted to maintain compliance standards along with statutory Audits from agencies and third parties including buyer nominated agencies.
